Jenkins Warriors Set for Breakthrough Season

 (Savannah) – After a frustrating 2013 football season, the Jenkins Warriors are ready to turn the corner.  Upwards of 20 seniors on the field for the Warriors as they open play in Class 1-AAA.  They move down from 5-A after reclassification.

Brendan Carter is gone, but senior Jamori Bryant is ready for the challenge as the team’s starting quarterback.  He’ll rely on running back Arkeem Byrd to balance the attack.  The offensive line consists of all seniors.


Jenkins finished 3-6-1 in 2013.. which included close losses to Effingham County (41-40), South Effingham (25-21) and Bradwell Institute (45-32).  The Warriors tied Savannah Christian 6-6 to start the season.
