Cory Wilson died at the age of 21 back in January of 2013.  He loved baseball and played throughout his lifetime.  Cory’s father threw out the first pitch tonight while his extended family was with him on the mound.

The tournament features 13 teams, mostly high school students.

On January 17, 2013, twenty-one year old Cory Joseph Wilson died as a result of a fatal heart arrhythmia. Regrettably, there was not an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) available to treat Cory at the time when he needed it the most. It is our hope that this annual tournament and future events will result in AEDs being placed in numerous facilities throughout our community.
