Savannah, Ga.- Gnate the Gnat, the Savannah Sand Gnats’ mascot, is once again competing in MiLB.com’s Mascot Mania. By voting online, fans will choose the best mascot in all of Minor League Baseball.

Gnate will compete against all of the mascots in the South Atlantic League in the first round. If he can advance, Gnate will then take on the winner of each league for a chance to be crowned the Mascot Mania champion.

Fans can also vote on twitter up to 25 times per day by tweeting or retweeting anything that includes @Gnatsbaseball, @MiLB , along with hashtags “#Vote4Gnate”and “#MascotMania”. Each tweet should include all four elements.

Fans are encouraged to be creative in their campaign efforts, as Gnate needs all the votes that he can get.

According to the latest polling results MiLB.com has Gnate the Gnat embroiled in a tight race with the Hickory Crawdads’ mascot, Conrad the Crawdad, and the Greenville Drive’s mascot, Reedy Rip’It.
