Lamar Owens continues to be a valuable assistant coach for Paul Johnson at Georgia Tech.  The Benedictine grad is in his seventh season in Atlanta, fifth as A-Backs coach in Johnson’s triple-option offense.

Owens played for Johnson at the Navel Academy… after starring on the gridiron for the BC Cadets.  He graduated from Maryland.

In 2001 Owens captured the coveted Ashley Dearing Award at BC as Savannah-Chatham’s Most Versatile High School male athlete.
