(Niles, Ohio) – Dom DeMasi’s dream of playing professional baseball continues in Eastern Ohio… with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. DeMasi is a relief pitcher for the Cleveland Indians short-season Single-A team.

DeMasi has made two appearances so far this season… striking out four batters. He’s given up 5 Earned Runs in 3.2 innings of work. DeMasi is just settling in in the Indians organization after being chosen in the 31st round of the Major League Baseball draft.
He starred at Calvary Day school…. winning the coveted Dearing Award twice. DeMasi went on the play at Valdosta State.
