Savannah’s Demasi Drafted by Indians

Major league baseball’s draft doesn’t get the publicity and hype that say the NFL or the NBAs drafts get.  A couple of reasons, in baseball you don’t step into a major league stadium and make an impact day one and the major league baseball draft goes a couple of days but can have up to 40 rounds.  Regardless try telling the kids getting chosen in that draft that it’s too long.  No chance.  Friday, Georgia Southern had a pitcher drafted. Saturday, a former Calvary star Dom Demasi got a call from the Cleveland Indians.  Selected in the 31st round, Demasi was drafted out of Valdosta state. 12 starts this year. 7-4 record
