SSU is one of nine Division I school football teams ineligible for the postseason.

The Lady Tigers basketball team has been given a “Level 1″ penalty from the NCAA.  Level One penalties focus on practice restrictions, allowing teams to use that time to focus on academics. Teams facing this penalty lose four hours and one day of practice time per week in season, replaced with academic activities.  SSU has a “Waiver Pending” on this penalty.
