(Savannah) – Taylor Deloach started running track at the age of seven.  Picking up the long jump some five years later.  She now is setting her sights on the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

Deloach says she has nearly 200 medals, half of which are Gold.

Thursday in Albany Deloach will jump toward the title in the Long Jump.  She already reached her personal record of 20 feet 2 inches at the Sectionals this past weekend.  The World Record for women in 24 feet 8 inches.  She’s currently fourth Internationally and third in the United States for her age group (16).

Deloach has college scholarship offers from The Naval Academy, Notre Dame and Kansas… and she’s only a sophomore at St. Vincent’s.
