Sheila is enjoying her second stint in Savannah and her second go-round at WSAV. From 1999 to 2003 she covered the military community and medical news for the station. She fell in love with the city back then and is excited to return, this time with an opportunity to cover Crime and Safety matters in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry.
Originally from Florida, Sheila received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication from Florida State University. She's covered a little bit of everything from natural disasters to politics to community issues during a 20-year career working in Tallahassee and Orlando, Florida, Nashville, Tennessee and of course Savannah. Sheila most recently anchored the morning and noon newscasts for KDBC-TV in El Paso, Texas and is very happy to be back home in the Southeast. When she's not working, Sheila enjoys reading, traveling and cheering for her Seminoles! She's been married for more than a decade to her husband Jesse. They share a beautiful daughter Alexandra.
