Natalie is the Host for WSAV's new weekday lifestyle and entertainment show at noon, THE SOUTHERN SCENE. In the show, Natalie travels all around Savannah, the Coastal Empire and the Low Country and gives us a real look at The Southern Scene.
No stranger to Savannah, Natalie has worked in the Broadcast and Entertainment Industry for the past 25 years as a broadcast journalist, commercial spokesperson, actress and model. A native of South Georgia and graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Communication Arts with an emphasis in Television, Radio and Film, Natalie has worked as a weeknight news anchor, TV Host, and Local Correspondent in Savannah…and has been recognized as one of “Savannah's Best” and named an “Outstanding Woman in Georgia” twice. As a Commercial Spokesperson and Voice Over Artist, Natalie has served as the face, voice and image for many businesses and corporations throughout the Southeastern United States. She has also served as a Medical Correspondent for Exam Room Network that can be seen in thousands of medical facilities across the country and a Host for American Dentistry Today. Known as an “energetic, hands on and not afraid to get involved on-air personality,” Natalie's most memorable experience as a journalist so far was deploying with the 24th Infantry's Victory Brigade to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm.
Natalie has also made it to the big screen as well having landed small speaking roles in eight feature films including Forrest Gump, The Gingerbread Man, Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil and Major League III Back to the Minors affording her the opportunity to work with Director greats like Robert Zemeckis, Robert Altman and Clint Eastwood. In addition, she has appeared in numerous national and regional commercials and has graced the front covers of the national magazines American Looks, American Hair Trends, Revlon Interactives, and Massey's Shoes.
She has an extensive background in pageantry and is a former Miss Georgia Southern University, Miss Savannah, Miss Southeast Georgia, and Miss Armstrong Atlantic State University. After winning Mrs. Georgia in 1992, she placed first runner-up in the Mrs. America Pageant. She also has served as a Board Member for the Miss Georgia Scholarship Board of Trustees and has worked as the Primary Preparation Advisor preparing and training Miss Georgia for the Miss America Pageant. Natalie has donated and worked countless volunteer hours with loads of charities throughout Georgia. In addition, she has emceed, judged and entertained all over the Southeastern United States.
Natalie currently resides in Savannah where she enjoys spending time with her 16-year old daughter, Joelle who is an 11th grader and a proud member of the Lady Hornets Volleyball and Basketball Team at Savannah Country Day School.
